December 10, 1948 Human Rights Declaration
More than 6 decades of the Declaration of Human Rights, 10 December, the General Assembly adopted the United Nations Universal Declaration Human Rights. It is, perhaps, the most important event of the UN in its history. Even today in many countries do not take into account these rights and, in many others, are ignored in many situations was a significant advance for the whole world in the conception of human beings.
the background of this statement has been: The Declaration of Independence of the Thirteen Colonies, Virginia Declaration of Rights and especially the Bill of Rights of Man and Citizen of the French Revolution.
This video was presented by Amnesty International last year in celebration of 60 anniversary of this Declaration and leaves show that there is much to do in this area.
