SCORPIONS WIND OF CHANGE ...

Around Acabame to address issue of perestroika and the change it caused, rescued the following curious and added a new song in history.

To the amazement of the West, August 20, 1989 was held the first rock festival in Moscow: Moscow Music Peace Festival at Lenin Stadium, Scorpions was the first rock band to perform in the USSR. Klaus
Meine, vocalist and songwriter for the group, wrote the song Wind of Change, which would put music to the demolition and destruction of the Berlin Wall.
The song celebrated the end of communism, expressed admiration for the Perestroika and celebrated the end of the Cold War.
In 1991, the German group would be invited by Gorbachev to sing the song in the Kremlin Square.

I leave the video with the song in English.
